williams pied-a-terre

This project was designed for an entrepreneur and philanthropist looking to dwell in New York City part time. The furnishings, lighting, color palette and artwork were a collaborative design effort between our studio and the apartment owner. Many sentimental artifacts were incorporated into the decor to make the space feel personal.

Public and private living spaces were designed with the intention to allow the client to have an urban retreat for entertaining and relaxation when in town. The west-facing windows offer sunset views of the of the Williamsburg Bridge and city beyond.

Thoughtful collaboration allowed for this dwelling unit to become a highly personalized space for the owner. The goal of blending traditional and contemporary styles was achieved successfully, creating a lovely series of sentimental spaces.
