This project was designed for a home owner's rooftop terrace in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. The owners desired a new outdoor living room with space to relax and entertain. A series of living and dining spaces were created along the length of the terrace to maximize the space and take advantage of the downtown skyline views.

A custom cedar hot tub was built on the terrace reflecting the aesthetic of the water towers on the adjacent rooftops. The outdoor kitchen was designed with stone and stainless steel fixtures that could withstand the weather. Custom glass railings and supports were designed to minimize obstructions of the view.
A custom wood and steel shade structure, planters and outdoor lighting were designed to adorn the south-facing expansive roof deck. The owners were delighted to make much more efficient use of the exterior space with fresh finishes and furnishings.
